What's Your Idea?

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Aviva Community Fund for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

One of my most important choices when purchasing a house was considering the environment, the community, the house was located in. Is there a place for my kids to play? Are there convenient local amenities like shopping, schools, and recreation? Well, what if there was a way for you to better your community?

Aviva Insurance is currently offering an amazing opportunity to do just that! Aviva Insurance belives in the aspect that they must see beyond basic transactions and policies and provide a better community for people which will in turn help keep everyone safer! After all, when we are proud and in love with where we live we strive to keep it that way! And who better knows how to improve our communities than the people who live in them?

This is why the Avivia Community Fund is offering $1,000,000 for winning ideas on how to improve the area where you live and to create positive change across Canada!

I know I personally would love to see some changes to my community like a park designed for toddlers. It seems most of the parks in my city were designed for older kids and it's difficult for my 2 year old daughter to fully climb and play on them and I'm always worried about her falling! It would be great to have a play area designated for our younger children and promote healthy living and exercise at an early age!

What ways do you know of to improve your community? You can submit your ideas at Aviva Community Fund! Once you submit your idea you can then get your friends and family to vote for it or even promote it through facebook, twitter, community events etc. to raise awareness and generate interest allowing you a better chance to win! You can also Like Aviva Community Fund on Facebook or Follow @Aviva on Twitter!
